The Rubber Industry International Conference Kuala Lumpur (RIICKL 2021) is held in conjunction with the 10th International Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition (10th IRGCE) from 11 to 13 August 2021 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This premier gathering of leaders in the rubber fraternity will attract not only the rubber products manufacturers and its supporting eco-system, but also researchers and innovators, academicians and students. This intellectual discourse will be a good opportunity for networking and sharing new knowledge.

In 2018 Malaysia successfully organized the International Rubber Conference 2018 (IRC 2018) along with the 9th International Rubber Glove Conference and Exhibition. The IRC 2018 covered mainly dry rubber topics while the IRGCE concentrated on latex technology. For the first time, the entire rubber product manufacturing industry of Malaysia represented by the Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association (MARGMA), Malaysian Rubber Products Manufacturers’ Association (MRPMA) and the Plastics and Rubber Institute Malaysia (PRIM), pooled resources to showcase Malaysia as a centre of excellence for rubber product manufacture as well as research and development in rubber science and technology.

The Conference theme of RIICKL 2021 is Rubber Product Manufacturing: Creating Eco-system to Move Forward will feature about 75-100 articles related to (1) Rubber Science and Technology; (ii) IR 4.0, Automation and Smart Manufacturing; and  (iii) Sustainability, Economics and Marketing papers on innovative materials, processes and products. A substantial portion of papers are also devoted to Industry 4.0 and Automation－the national vision to economic prosperity and societal well-being.
